Wimbledon!

Huge thanks to #Wimbledon who, through Partners In Care, gave Wimbledon tickets to staff working in social care. Together with Wimbledon, we offered a full day all-expenses paid trip to Wimbledon tennis as part of Wimbledon’s Middle Sunday event which is dedicated to thanking and celebrating members of the social care workforce. As all of our teams are so deserving, we held a ballot for all of the tennis fans to put their names into. Jubilee Celebrations

All at Apple House care homes had a truly wonderful time celebrating Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee earlier this month. Celebration events included garden parties and the planting of a Queen Elizabeth rose in our gardens. Smiling Matters: Oral Health Care in Care Homes

In June 2019 the Care Quality Commission (CQC) published their review report, ‘Smiling Matters: Oral health care in care homes.’The National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) had produced guidelines (NG48) recognising the importance of good oral care for adults in care homes.
