Celebrating Our Remarkable Journey and Apple House Ltd’s Milestone Anniversary

As Apple House Ltd marks its 19th anniversary this month, we not only celebrate nearly two decades of providing exceptional care and support but also commemorate the extraordinary journey of our team. Founded by Jane Montrose in 2005, joined by Romaine Lawson, Jayne Jackson and Sarah-Jane Keith, Apple House Ltd was born out of Jane’s determination to provide support for people with learning disabilities at the very heart of their community. Leaving a long career in nursing, Jane turned her long-held ambition into reality and our first service, Apple House, was formed. Today, we proudly operate five Registered Care homes, …

Congratulations To Carly!

Merry Christmas!

Starting the Christmas period in true festive style was Elf Romaine, Director of Operations, and her husband, Ralf aka Father Christmas. FC and his elf drove the sleigh to each Apple House care home yesterday, bringing with them great cheer (and chocolate gifts). A tradition spanning the last seventeen years, I, Romaine and our respective families love nothing better than our annual Elf ‘n Safety visits and it was so wonderful this year to be less restricted by Covid measures. May we take this opportunity to wish you, our teams, residents, families, local authority partners, GPs, community teams, local suppliers …

Her Majesty The Queen

1926 – 2022 It was with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. At Apple House Ltd, we remember and give gratitude to Her late Majesty for a lifetime of devoted service to the people of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth. God Save King Charles III. …

Wimbledon!

Huge thanks to #Wimbledon who, through Partners In Care, gave Wimbledon tickets to staff working in social care. Together with Wimbledon, we offered a full day all-expenses paid trip to Wimbledon tennis as part of Wimbledon’s Middle Sunday event which is dedicated to thanking and celebrating members of the social care workforce. As all of our teams are so deserving, we held a ballot for all of the tennis fans to put their names into. The draw was held live on video across our services and Mandy and Sally were the lucky winners. Wimbledon provided the tickets and our company …
