Pancakes and Red Noses…

We are thrilled to have raised £250 for Red Nose Day – very well done to residents and staff who really got into the spirit of this great charity fundraiser!

Apple House care home’s Dawn said, “At an informal meeting, all agreed they would like to hold a Red Nose Day event here. We made a poster and invited our friends, including from Redcroft and Summerwood. To add to the fun everyone was invited to make something, with a prize awarded to the winner. On Red Nose Day all helped to decorate, cakes were made, sold and enjoyed and it was a really good turnout and great success. * from Redcroft won 1st prize for her red nose day hat she had made, it was brilliant, while * from Apple House won 1st prize for his fantastic artwork.
Now on to planning our Easter party!”

And finally, we just had to share this photo of John, Registered Manager at Summerwood, on Pancake Day. Caption the photo as you please! 😉

Fabulous day, we help to raise money for a good cause. Family members also donated funds. John what a ‘flippin’ fantastic photo, made us laugh 🙂
It is always great to meet up with friends and colleagues from the other homes.
